Good towel rail. It seems well made and very easy to assemble. Deduction of 4 stars because it doesn't hold large towels optimally. Even with large towels, it gets the job done. I like the slim profile that allows it to fit behind a door. As I said, it's a bit smaller than I imagined, but overall I'm happy with it.

I got tired of hanging tea towels on the faucet and towels on the dishwasher handle to dry dishes, so I installed one of these on the top of the cabinet near the sink. Fixed small problem. The stand feels solid and installation took only a few minutes with a small drill (for the pilot hole) and a screwdriver. It also comes with drywall anchors if you're mounting it to a wall. You'll want to pre-drill the wall for them, although I prefer the sturdier drywall hanger I buy from Home Depot.

The first sign it doesn't work is when it arrives broken. The rods are simply pushed into the sockets and secured poorly. It's aluminum, so it would make sense if it was anodized black, but it's just spray-painted instead. When delivered, the paint was scratched off in several places. No signs of packaging damage.
