Got these as a gift for a friend of mine who is starting to do his own car maintenance. I think they will last a long time since I've seen how strong they are.

I am a truck and heavy equipment mechanic and have used snap on and mac pliers for many years. I thought I'd try something different and couldn't be happier. This is great quality and a fraction of the price you would pay for tool trolley brands. I highly recommend trying some Knipex pliers.

Tools Knipex is the only brand you buy pliers from. It's that simple, it's not even a competition. The level of build quality and precision of these pliers amazes me. This set should cover about 95% of everything you'll ever need pliers for.

I bought this set primarily for pliers which are great! Thin-nosed pliers are good. I think adjustable tongs are a silly design. They won't last long in my opinion, but like any pliers, they're VERY useful and undoubtedly a good thing.

I have bought/used many brands of hand tools. While they have their place, I'm tired of the cheap tools you can find at cheap stores. They are well designed and made - fun to use. I look forward to passing them on to my children. Compared to the "cheap" worth the money.

needle point is great fits a very precise point. Alligator is ok, they don't have a button closure mechanism. The editors were a big disappointment for me, I was hoping for more. It is extremely difficult to cut a small diameter nail. I really like Knipex, this set exceeded all my expectations. In hindsight, I would have just bought the needle nose and best cutter separately and skipped the alligators. Probably depends on what you need.

I've been hearing about how great Knipex is for years so this was my first encounter with their line of products. They convinced me so much that I have now bought several other pliers from them. All of the pliers in the set work well but the side cutters really stand out. After years of using cheap cutters, this is a dream come true. The set is expensive, but should last for years.

The best German tools. One of the few tools I wish I had found sooner. Spend your money wisely and focus on quality over quantity. I will now clean other pliers that I thought were "good". The precise processing makes work a pleasure. Insanely comfortable in the hand. The side cutters are very sharp. And they won't bite you if you squeeze your hands together. Great job Knipex! I am a customer for life!
