Excellent quality product.

Excellent quality product. A small stand is great if you want a little slope for drainage or whatever. I love most Irwin products, some of them fail like black oxidized adjustable wrenches that just rust but not this one.

Must have for plumbers!

Excellent level for a plumber! The most common values are 90 degrees and 45 degrees, but it's hard to find a value with 22.5 degrees. I've tried this level and so far I can't find any errors. Ideal for the most common plumbing grades a plumber uses.

This is a great torpedo level and I bought it because I like it.

This is a great torpedo and I bought it because I like the side view. I also bought a 24" 2500 Level. Both are excellent but the solid aluminum on the dash doesn't protect. It fell down the stairs and the central behemoth broke immediately. Not sure if I got the dash on irwin will change as far as I like the quality.

Durable but rough surface of magnet edge may scratch surfaces

Durable and very strong magnets. The only downside is that the magnetic edge has a rough metal finish and can easily scratch the surface you use it on. I needed this to weigh and level many painted metal cabinets. It will definitely scratch the finish if it slides across the surface at all. I need to cover the edge with tape or other material to avoid damaging the surfaces. It wasn't a well thought out design. If possible, you should slide two strips of thin plastic over the edge of the metal…
