Love it! Iron Fits Hair Curler

I LOVE my new curling iron! Curled my hair (treated against some damage) for the first time in a year and am very happy with the results of this straightener. I used to use a hair straightener to curl my hair (which did the damage), but this time I needed an actual curling iron. I ordered a 1 1/2 inch barrel and they created perfectly loose curls. You can adjust the temperature and guide to show a good temperature for your hair type. I kept mine on the lowest setting (fine hair but lots of it)…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Professional Quality - My curls look amazing - Salon Quality

I suspect this is a whole new line from Hot Tools. My stylist used Hot Tools on my hair and when I saw Hot Tools on Revain I went and bought the whole batch. First I started with the Hot Tools hair dryer - I really liked it. Ions for less frizz, many different heat and air settings. Love it. OK. So I went back to buy the Hot Tools Signature Series curling iron. Love it. Gold. and gets very hot for tightly curled hair. And also . yes, long line. I swear I'm pulling the knobs out of the bathroom…

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT USE THE PLATE SO I WILL RETURN TO THE IRON.

I have 3 branded curling irons and I can't use any of them without getting burned, so I'm going back to "old school" for styling my hair. It heats up quickly, has a stand and heats up to 430 degrees. I'm a grandma and maybe it's my age but this style is still the easiest way for me to do my hair. In the last photo, one side is finished and the other is not. It might not have been great, but it was quick and easy. My only issue with this is that I'm not sure if it has an auto shut off or not and

Won't twist handle will burn

I bought this curling iron instead of standing for years (another brand) which eventually broke. First and foremost, it didn't effectively curl my hair at all. And my hair is not long (just below my shoulders). Even at the highest temperature (which I've never curled my hair with) my hair stayed pretty straight apart from a little twist at the ends. Second, it's really poorly designed because the clip you press to hold or release the hair is only plastic/rubber at the very end (look at the…

Pros
  • Useful not only for it's intended purpose

IMPORTANT: This is not a professional iron

It is important to note that this Hot Tools iron is a cheaper version available for sale from retailers such as Target, Walmart and Revain. It's a Signature Series iron, not a "Professional" iron you can buy like Ulta. I bought this in a hurry after my other one stopped working and didn't realize there was a difference so I'm just posting for others! In comparison, it becomes clear that the more expensive "Professional" is of better quality and performs better than this "Author's Series". And…

Beware! The third application and the hair burned!

This curling iron arrived on the 17th February 2020, I used it once at 350 that day. My hair turned out great. It was easy to use. I always use heat protectant and don't use any additional styling products. A day later I used the iron again, even at 350 heat, and great hair again. However, today I plugged it back in and set it to 350 heat. Just before using the iron, I noticed a "hot" smell. I checked again to make sure I had it set to 350 and not the max temp of 450 and indeed it was set to…
