Good for the money but very noisy on the Autobahn

Can't be too hard on this helmet because it's cheap. Pros: Cheap, fits, lifts in front and makes it easier to put on without breaking your nose. and provides ventilation when stopped at traffic lights. Cons: Noisy on the freeway, limited visibility, heavy, nose cap keeps coming off, dark visor stays on the bridge of the nose and doesn't go down far enough to do a good job. Basically a good helmet so you can learn and maybe paint later. but by no means an eternal helmet

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Only available in black

Better than described. . .

Picture and description do not match this helmet: it is much better. Very comfortable, the chin mechanisms are good and solid (although I wish they were spring loaded and dampened). The transparent visor is adjustable to allow ventilation. There is a retractable sun visor. The ventilation slots also open and close. The graphics are better in real life too. I decorated my bike with Harley decals to personalize it and make it more visible. it looks cool A really good helmet for the price. They…

Looks great, great helmet, great price

My helmet has received many compliments. Looks great! For the past month I've been wearing it 3-4 days a week in the hot summer weather in Texas. It has pretty good airflow. The modular face is a really nice feature when you're sitting at a traffic light in 100 degree heat. After a few weeks I had to re-glue part of the ear pads but this helmet is better, lighter and more comfortable than the helmet I bought. Harley-Davidson is twice as expensive. The Harley helmet is a bit stronger in some…

  • Dear

Have been using this helmet for 6 months. I decided to wait a bit to write something positive or negative about him. The only thing I can say about this helmet is that it's excellent, it's noisy at highway speeds, but it's good. makes noise in all helmets, the sun visor works great, there is no wear after long use. The pillows are comfortable, yes! I will let you know that after a while they will soften and make the helmet bigger. The finish of the helmet is like a dip. So if you scratch it or…

Avengers unite you?

I'm not sure about the whole "Rebel Star" thing - it's definitely Captain America. Or its related counterpart. But that's cool - I'm taking a lower price than the crazy Marvel license prices. This will be our little secret. Still a great helmet. I have a black HJC with a tinted visor, so I wanted a second helmet for night riding or just when I wanted a clear visor (because, Captain America or not, I'm too lazy to change the visor on my HJC regularly). Turns out I wear it most of the time since…

Poor quality straight out of the box

I originally bought this helmet and when it arrived the liner on one side of the helmet was not attached to the helmet itself. It was disappointing but I thought it might be an accident. No, the replacement came with exactly the same defect. Maybe that's a good thing, because I assume that there is a problem with the glue used and that would have solved itself at some point anyway. That way I could at least return it for a refund. So now I have 2 of them with the same problem to come back. Date

UPDATED TO 5 STARS - Pretty good helmet!

This is an update of the last review. I went from 4 stars to 5 stars simply because the customer service was understanding and helped me get the right padding right away to ensure my husband didn't have to put his head in his helmet. Here, too, the helmet is of high quality and very versatile. But make sure you go up a size if you have a chubby (but cute) face and thick jaw! The head and helmet sizing chart is correct, but be careful if you have bigger cheekbones, jawline and/or a nice puffy…
