Anyone with more than five PS4 games needs this product. Whether on disc or downloaded, games take up a lot of space and the 500GB that comes with a standard PS4 is nowhere near enough. Before I bought it, I had at least ten games that I couldn't play because I didn't have hard drive space. I've currently downloaded about 20 games and have 1TB left. Setup was easy and took no more than 3 minutes. After a few months it's still working great. Didn't notice any difference in download speed.

Used the hard drive to back up my computer files. Suddenly failed after very light use (less than once a month) - most of the time the drive sat on the table unconnected. ow Does not turn on, does not blink when connected. Tried with a different cable and on a different computer - to no avail. Lost my data - very disappointed! I do not recommend.
