ok I went through these boxes with reviews, my experience wasn't as good as some of yours. I bought them to provide shelter for the little residents of the castle and pieces for activities I made for my grandson. They will work fine BUT the red one already came broken so I'm wondering how long will they last?

We use them on our toy shelves. The set included multicolored baskets, but we wanted more muted colors for our playroom. White complements gray well. The bins are durable and great for storing toys. These storage bins are great value. Get 4 for just $8 (for smaller containers) plus free shipping. I've been looking for containers of this size without a lid, which isn't as easy as you might think. The closest ones I found were about the same size but cost about $8 for just one basket. So this is the real deal and appears to be very durable.
