So far looking very good

So far it looks just like the magnaflow that’s way more expensive. Magnaflow has a lip on the inside that hinders flow through it. This one doesn’t have that! This one just happens to be much less expensive. I’m gonna check the welds and also update after install. Putting it on an 08 Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI. Deleting the resonator with this.Update: on a Cadillac CTS 3.6 direct injected engine. don’t do this with stock exhaust. It doesn’t sound very good at all. No fault of the product at all it’s…

Product looks excellent, purchased to build a custom y pipe for a project car. Welds appear to be higher quality compared to some other products out there. Beings its 409 stainless we'll see how it holds up living in the rust belt

Worth the Money for my opinion

After reading a few reviews, I decided to go with this Y-Pipe. All I can say is I have no regrets. However I ordered a non polished one and received a polished other then that I’m very happy with this item.

  • Sounds nice on 5th gen Camaro got rid of a lot of rasp and drone def sounds deeper at idle.

Know what size you need beforehand, as there's many choices.

I was looking for a good quality Y pipe to replace the rusted out one installed on my truck (custom exhaust system), and this was readily available and fit the bill- looks good, and reasonably priced.

Pros
  • Looks good, feels solid, welds look good, works great on my 2015 mustang

  • May not fit properly with aftermarket parts

Good quality, possible turbulence

Great product but not as smooth inside as I thought it would be. Some turbulence situations will present inside the x. It is a very nice x pipe. I didn't install it due to it being too narrow of a gap and it not being needed in my setup.

no complaints for my opinion

item is as described. used to build a y new pipe to go from header to header on my truck. worked great. welded good. had a couple people tell me that is looked like a pretty good piece. they were shocked when i told them how much it costed. would definitely buy again

Quality material for my opinion

Came with a small whole but the welder that installed it through a 2 second bead on it and it was fine. Other than that part the product is of quality material and has made my truck sound bada$$. Paired with a set of single chamber mufflers it sounds great.

This is a top notch quality x pipe. The welds are clean in and out and would easily compare with any of the big name brand exhaust companies. You will not be disappointed with this purchase and the excellent pricepoint.

Inner Diameter Not 2.25 ", measures 2.32 "

Well-made out of 409 stainless, good welds. However, the inside diameter of the inlet/outlet pipes is 2.32", not 2.25". Too much gap between inlet/outlet pipes and 2.25' outside diameter pipe to make a good weld, so I returned and ordered the Wesdon x-pipe WSXP225-225SS (which does have 2.25" ID inlet/outlet pipes).

As Expected for the price

If you need a y-pipe on a budget, this is the way to go. It is easy enough to weld in or weld a flange to. However, with the pressed style y-pipe, the internal construction can cause some turbulence in the exhaust flow leading to potential vibration or drone. BUT-it is hard to beat for the price.

Y-Pipe wor the $$. Finish, fit and welds are Very good.

My husband compared and shopped five different Y Tubes for my truck. This product came a day prior than what was announced and it was a perfect fit for my Truck. And after I put it on, which took very little time, it sounds as a truck should; loud and proud!
