Nylon Slip-On Stirrup Set for Kids - Tough 1 Review

Compared to the leather version of these stirrups, they are very similar in functionality. I actually like them better than leather because they are more flexible. The stirrup part is quite large. And the price is unbeatable!

My husband is the horse lover in our family and now our 2 year old daughter. He asked me to buy it for her. Upon arrival I was immediately dissatisfied with the quality and wanted to go back. I suggested he try them out. The hardware on a stirrup fell off after the first use. I'm returning now

I would keep these stirrups if I felt they were safe for my grandchildren. Based on the description I figured they would help prevent small boots from slipping through the stirrups. But between the stirrup and the tapedero there is a space large enough for a small foot to get in. They fit a larger toddler but not my grandchildren.

I love them. They are easily adjusted between my children of different ages. I would say no more than 7 years old to use with the right length. I had to take a lighter and light the horn adjustment holes but they are worth it. They are also much more flexible than leather, making them more comfortable. They definitely help when a child's feet slide too far into the stirrup.

We used them for the first time this weekend. It was very easy to put them on and send the kids out for a walk. They could sit more comfortably and ride alone after "putting their feet up" on a neighbor's horse. Extremely well constructed with durable materials, you get a lot for the price! I understand why they are double the price in many stores, in this case you get more than you pay for. I would like to make them a little longer, I think their knees are a little bent and I can't straighten…
