This is a quality item, even considering its price. I have paid more for lower quality beanies. The leather details give this hat a premium feel that can only be seen in person. I think for those with a big head it's 5 stars, but for me it's 4 , and I think it's more because of my head (small) and that I now have a very short haircut so it doesn't suit me. He's not as good looking as the models and he's not crooked enough so I don't look that cute. I am writing this as a construction worker in the Northeast. This is a house hat in my opinion. The room is warm. Outdoors, on a cold and windy day, the hat lets air through and doesn't warm the ears enough. Apart from these criticisms, I am satisfied with the product. Good fit and ideal for indoor use or autumn/spring outdoors. But not for a serious winter! Don't spend hours digging with it!

I usually wear a size 7 5/8 or 7/4 so many one sizes and is too tight. This one was great and probably not too big for smaller hats. The construction also seems good. I bought this for a trip to Colorado and Utah in late October, but we missed most of the colder weather so didn't get to try it very well. It will be in my kit when football (American style) gets back to normal and I can attend some games in cold weather. But that, you won't be disappointed.
