Tovolo Stainless Steel Cocktail Shaker with Integrated Citrus Reamer & Strainer Review

Really easy to use. The built in tension is great. Hitting the ground helps break the dice. The only question is how long the plastic cover will last.

Good in concept but bad in form. The juicer is very inconvenient to use as the plastic part is on top and only rotates when I press the lime on it. Shaker and juicer must be purchased separately.

Bought on recommendation of a food magazine/TV show. That's fine, but unless you're making citrus juice specifically for your drink, I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost. However, it seals very well.

The lid is difficult to take off and remove, but otherwise it's a reliable shaker. Love the little plastic lid that you remove before pouring drinks and the strainer is better than some. The best thing for me is that its capacity is a bit larger than some other shakers I've used.

Doesn't leak unless the herb juicer is in it when you shake it (which it shouldn't be). The shaker feels good in the hand, squeezes well. Pouring is great because it doesn't drip. My only suggestion is that the 1 ounce and 2 ounce lines on the translucent mug are hard to read. But that is secondary. I love this cocktail shaker!

This shaker is a great design, yes the top of the filter could have had smaller holes but that's about it. Jigger and shaker form a tight seal, no unnecessary mess unexpected. I know some reviewers have commented on the jigger lines and their visibility; I plan on taking a marker and marking them as they should hold up to multiple washes.
