Heats well, but switches off and can only calm down when it cools down. We do massages all day and it's annoying to have to wait for towels to warm up.

Of all the towel warmers, this is my favorite. Warms a towel (one at a time) while you shower and is ready to use when you're done. Just slide the towel in the warmer, don't crease it, that's kind of a mess. It also has an automatic shut off. I like to pull it in the shower, wrap it around me and just stand still and soak up the heat.

After ordering the Towel Spa I read a review that mentioned an awful smell when using the towel warmer. I am so happy to say that there is absolutely no smell! This towel warmer is the best I have ever used at a fraction of the cost of more expensive models. The towel fully warms up in about 10-15 minutes. I've also used it to keep my robe warm and it works just as well for that! I bought a wall mounted towel warmer which was ridiculously expensive and doesn't heat towels nearly twice as well…

I have nothing to add to the description of other reviews. It's compact, holds a medium-sized bath towel, heats up a bit unevenly, but is still pleasantly cool in the morning. We didn't notice the smell of plastic. Our heated towel rail stopped working after 4 months. The heat indicator will illuminate to indicate the unit is heating/heating, but the heating element will not turn on. I did not find any information about self-repair. First I have to tell you that I'm on my second. The first lasted about 15 years before it expired. My late mother gave it to me and it was the best present I have ever received in my life.
