Installed Android Auto Deck on my 2015 Rav and bought 2 of these USB inserts for a neat look. Others have mentioned that the plastic USB is held in the outer ring. It's convenient to install, but the plastic holding the two pieces together is very tight, brittle, and cracked when I took them apart. Everything still works and looks great, but at some point I may have to use hot glue to make sure the two pieces stay together. Overall it works well and looks good.

Works well and fits perfectly for Scion xB 2010 and fits all Scion xB 2008-2015, I mounted mine on the bezel of the derailleur instead of the plug. It was used with a Pioneer AVH-2400NEX and works great with Apple Carplay. The only thing that bothers me is that the whole assembly is a little loose when everything snaps into place, so I used some hot glue to make everything more secure.

If I plug directly into the USB port that comes behind the radio the Android Auto works. When I plug it into the controller's USB port and use the same cable, I keep getting disconnects. so useless in my case. I can try to core it and use it to keep the plug away from the main unit, but I could do that with a plug. and yes. it fits freely. swing around although it didn't really bother me. it looked beautiful. really wanted it to work. As others have noted it is very loose and wobbly. This is because part of the device's USB port is connected to another part - let's call it a frame. The frame fits very tightly to the dashboard. But part of the USB is plugged into the frame quite freely. If you put a dab of hot glue, plastic welding or epoxy on both sides as shown in my picture it will be rock hard. I used plastic welding, which you can buy at any hardware store. Very easy to fix, so I recommend it.

I bought the version (35*24mm) for my 2007 Tacoma. I have a base model with a lot of blank panels due to missing features. I just picked one in a convenient location. I routed the wire from the radio before buying this so all I had to do was pull out the little compartment to the left of the steering wheel and unplug the connector, then just plug that into the hole. Use with Pioneer AVH-1440NEX head unit (which by the way is a great buy for those looking for a great car stereo with Apple Play for less than $300). Anyway, I plugged it into my Tundra's factory plug and it loads and streams music to my main unit.
