Walking Triceratops Dinosaur: Unleash the Roaming Magic! Review

Bought for my 3 year old dinosaur lover who almost immediately told me it was a Styracosaurus and not a Triceratops. Anyway, he liked it, so I give it 5 stars. As a mom, I wish the toy had a button to turn off the sound but still let it run. Luckily my son plays with it a lot without sound.

The toy's movements and snarling sound make playtime fun, although some young children might be a little intimidated by this dynamic toy. If I can contribute, I find it even better if the tube sound isn't played all the time. In other words, the tone should be generated at regular intervals, maybe every 5 seconds.

My eldest son didn't like it; it was too loud. Not only is it too loud (even after covering the speaker with layers of duct tape), but it doesn't stop either. If there was at least a button that he could use to run and growl and then stop after a minute or 15 steps or so, that would be a lot better. This thing literally walks around making a piercing roar until you turn it off. He rests quietly in my son's room; Too bad nobody plays with him.

I got this for my 2 year old son for his birthday because he LOVES dinosaurs. He was so in love with this thing it was the best reaction to a toy I've ever had from any of my 4 kids! It lights up and makes noises (warning: the noises don't stop until you turn it off) and it just goes nuts over it. My boys aged 8 and 3 loved it too :)

As another poster said, everything in the box fell apart. The dinosaur, separate tail, and batteries seemed to have just been thrown there. There were a few issues out of the box. The screw holding the battery compartment closed was missing, and several LEDs did not light up. There wasn't time to wait for a replacement, so I dug through the toy myself and found a few wires that were never soldered. to the blackboard. My boys love these dinosaurs that light up, growl and march. FYI, the sound they make is exactly the same as Godzilla from the 1980s. yes, they are loud, yes, they are annoying, yes, they are of poor quality, but that is for children. also to those who noticed they were delivered damaged (broken) because the tail wasn't attached lol, that's how they're shipped/packaged. they are not damaged.
