Stay away from lucky deals

Stay away from lucky deals. They sold me a router that doesn't work with Century Link. I read the specs and researched the Seattle subways. Fail. I requested a refund and received a cryptic email from this "shop": Good Luck Bargains has closed the refund request below. Reason for closing your request: Return period expired Yes, I needed time to try to get rid of this unnecessary thing. , and ask your service provider to find out what the problem is. Somehow this thing actually caused a problem…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Some little things

Not compatible with modems

This modem is NOT compatible with AT&T services. My suggestion is to double check with your service provider before ordering this or any other modem. Lived and studied.

  • Network products
Cons

Good cheap modem

I bought this to replace a Motorola 2210 that died from overheating (a known problem with this modem). So far, so good. It seems to run much cooler than Motorola. Moto was the first time I got my DSL from AT&T. The only small issue I had is that it can't handle PPPoE like my previous modem did. Not a big deal since I can set up my router to handle it. It was an economical modem and it does what I need it to do.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Negative gift
