📱 Klein Tools 55468 Tradesman Pro XL Phone Holder Review

It works great for general trade moves/works and I really want to give it 5 stars but once you jump into crawlspace you will see the clip's weakness. The case can of course clip onto things, and that's normal, but after a few snags, the clip loses its strength. I'd really like to see the same set but with a simple belt loop. - first of all. Large size fits Iphone7 (Iphone7 not plus model) with a case on it (fits every case I've seen). Definitely a good case, easy to use, sufficiently durable, functional. I only wish this American company would make them in America ("keep production as close to home as possible") (in other words, "Made in China", it's not that close). As an option I would also like a loop to thread the belt through instead of a metal belt clip.

I work in construction. This case lasted less than a month before the clip broke. Nothing caught, just wear and tear. It's a shame because the case fits my Galaxy S8+ perfectly. Edit: On January 4th, 2018 I received a replacement phone holder from Revain. I really hope that the first one was just a defective product. I want this item to pass as Klein is a very reliable brand. I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars while testing durability at work.

The case itself is very solid and well made. The problem is the clip. The clip itself is riveted to the case body, but is held upright by a valve glued to the back of the case! As a result, one side of the material holding the clip in place pops out and further separates with each use. In other words, the clip isn't strong, but it's there and didn't last more than a year. I'm a Commercial/Industrial Electrician (Inside Wireman) and my only complaint is that it's not made in America. Also, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ fits the XL size that I already had. In case you're wondering, my Note 10+ has a "shockproof case" and still fits XL. Aside from that, I can keep my tools in my back pockets, use any other pocket, and keep my phone intact while in this small suitcase.
