Viking Knits and Ancient Ornaments

I bought this book because it uses travel stitches. History buffs would do well to purchase this book. The designs are very fascinating. The book is not for beginners. The only downside is that you need access to Elsebeth's first book, which should be in your library anyway :) his links to it are permanent. And that's why only 4 stars. Otherwise it deserves 5 stars. I am very happy with this book.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • New contest launched

I was halfway through sewing the pattern for the back of this sweater when I realized it wasn't the sweater on the book cover. Of course, the variation is mentioned, but no mention is made of how it affects the number of rows and the shape of the product. A huge waste of time, frustrating and frustrating and now I have a hard time trusting the other templates in the book.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember

For the less adventurous and less experienced knitter (i.e. me), there are two projects to try: a pillow ('Firunga' on p. 110-112) that cleverly integrates i-cord, and a long vest ('Osk' on p .40-42) that provides enough coverage for the fullest, roundest tushie. (Again, that would be…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
