When I bought this I thought to myself. Why not just use petroleum jelly, but I gave it a try anyway. And it works. and feels like petroleum jelly, except it's white instead of yellowish and odorless (thank goodness). I don't understand what they meant by "reusable glass". Does that mean they refill it for free when I've used it up? Yeah right! a man can dream, right?

I used it before a 12 mile hike with cancer and saw absolutely no difference in terms of blisters and discomfort on my feet. I will try again, I really want this product to work but due to the price and lack of initial results I cannot recommend it. But it can be great for shorter hikes, for military personnel trying to help with boot ailments. I don't think this is the product for you.

This stuff really works. I went hiking in Utah for a week and the only day I didn't wear it I got a nice blister on my foot and pinky toe despite great socks and boots. Highly recommended for hikes where the terrain is uneven, soft or sandy and boots inevitably rub.

My friend recommended this to me after he told me a story about how I get blisters so often from walking and hiking. I now have a new sock mode, Injinji insoles and new Altra Trail running shoes. This combo has made my last two long hikes amazing, comfortable and blister free. I shared my toe slip with some others on the trip when they started getting blisters and was sooooo happy they used it. The main thing is prevention!

The product is normal, I took it to treat blisters on hikes. The downside is that the cream reacts with the glue in the tape and after a few steps forms a big sticky mass that sticks to the sock or shoe. Not nice and not helpful. The product itself is pretty good, it has the consistency of Aquaphor and can get light which is nice.

This is quite simply the best long pack lube. Between the GoRuck events and training for the Bataan Memorial Death March, these dogs are losing ground. Trail toes have completely eliminated the need for injinji liners. This is helpful as they are not very comfortable and add bulk to the inside of my shoes which is not desirable. No chafing, no blisters. Soft as a baby's bottom.
