Balaclava Face Mask

This ultra-lightweight face mask cover is great for sun protection or you can also use it while snowmobiling to protect your face from wind burns. I got this as a gift for my brother because he spends a lot of time on the water and his face or head is always burned so I thought this would be the perfect gift for him so he can enjoy fishing on the water now, without getting burned.

It's always cold in balaclavas

Serves its purpose! It's not exactly comfortable, but I need it for windy rides when I'm out and about because I always complain about freezing. It really keeps your own breath safe.

Definitely easy. I think I was hit in the face by a bug while riding, the insect easily penetrated the material. But no worry. The product is so loose that a breeze from brisk walking can blow it off my head/face. Maybe it would be better to get a paper cap and mask like those worn during surgery. I'm sure they will be just as durable.

Fits great, light and warm!

For the price this is the best balaclava I've bought on Amazon. Very well made, soft fleece lining on the inside. It's very light and fits great! I am very happy with my purchase!

Not breathable / Not suitable for small heads / Not suitable for cycling

Despite the product description on the website, this balaclava is thick (very warm!) but doesn't let air through, especially when cycling. I had to ride with my balaclava pulled down because I felt like I was suffocating in it. It would be fine for hiking but not for more strenuous activities. Also, the face hole is cut too high and exposes my forehead too much. I bought the smallest size but the top sits above my hairline. Maybe it's more suitable for boys, I'm a relatively petite girl andโ€ฆ
