Ideal for rope carrying. Don't try to use it as a buffer to prevent the rope from being pulled. He will destroy it in seconds.

Goes perfectly with Creg

Great canvas, love that I can roll it up and put it in my 35L backpack with the rest of my climbing gear. I used it for a TR and threw it over a 30-40 foot rock, it holds up great!

Simplicity is good for climbing

This is a tarpaulin with two ends of zippers and a strap to attach your nice rope in it. It's simple, safe and well done. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality tarp with a few extra features.

Recommended for all climbers!

I was looking for a rope bag when I stumbled across it and I'm very glad I did. It does everything that the more expensive bag does for your rope, except it's lighter and easier to handle. I am very happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

That's really good because it's just a tarp and just .

It's really good because it's just a tarp and it's only $15 (at least it was $15 when I bought it). I wish the tarp had extra loops on either end so I could hook it to a shoulder strap and turn it into a makeshift rope bag. But the slings cannot fix anything superfluous.

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Not the best

Trango Tarp Ideal for storing rope IN the bag

The tarp ties the rope compactly so it can be stowed in the bottom of the pack. When it's time to climb, simply unfold the tarp and you're ready to climb without having to rewind the rope. As you tie the top and bottom of the rope together, you should not find any knots.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good, but not great
