others for engine parts

They must be made in a backwoods Chinese shop, the holes don't match up very well. If I had to do it again I would definitely buy a different brand!

Pros
  • engines and engine parts
Cons
  • the cable is shorter than others

does not fit 67 72 c10

does NOT fit 67-72 c10 I was hoping to install this on my Chevy 72 c10 which I am making an LS replacement for. The description didn't say it only fit 1973 and later trucks so I had to pay $15 to send it back.

Pros
  • replacement parts
Cons
  • requires socket

Excellent conversion plates.

I ordered them last Wednesday and they were here Monday. The plates are really strong and they come with hardware to attach the plates to the block. The fit and finish is great and I would definitely recommend this project to other people doing transplants.

Pros
  • Engine Parts
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

but they seem to fit better without them

They are perfect for replacing LS with older stuff. Move the motor back about 1 inch to properly align the original gear. They come with "spacer" washers to avoid heating them up and having to poke a hole in the back of the original SBC mounts, but they seem to fit better without them. I usually smooth out the cutouts and shorten the studs. We have used them to install 5.3s and 6.0s on 88, 89, 98 and 1999 Chevrolet OBS Trucks and to replace a 2000 Express Van.

Pros
  • Engine mounts
Cons
  • Available in black only
