This is by far the best drive I've bought. With just one USB cable I downloaded all the photos and documents from my old laptop and then downloaded all the photos (3000+) from my wife's tablet via the new laptop. I like that it's so small - so very portable.

Works fast! I bought to transfer 100GB of data from my PC and thought it would take several hours, but no - it was done in less than 15 minutes. It was also delivered fairly quickly on the Sunday before Labor Day. The delivery in 1 day wasn't worth the extra money so I was quite satisfied.

So far so good. I love this Transcend 1TB with USB 3.0. It's quiet and works great since I got it about a month ago. I uninstalled all software on it because I use ViceVersa 2.5 backup software to run my backups. It is used for about 15 hours each day and, as I said, runs every 60 minutes when it detects changes in the files. I'll report if there are problems.

Love this drive! Plug and play! No setup, no formatting, just plug it in and my computer will recognize it within seconds and I'll be using it. It is powered by the computer's USB port, eliminating the need for an additional power cord. They also have software on their website that you can download to automate your hard drive data. I bought 2 and I really like them. I keep photos on it as backups of my online backups. 2TB drives are hard to beat for the price. Love the fact that they are USB powered. Small and compact, works right out of the box. Came with a bit of software I don't need, just removed it. I'm not a super user, so I can't comment on read/write speeds or durability yet. They are small, quiet and powered by USB. That's what I wanted and that's what this device has. I would recommend.

Good, higher quality than other brands reading reviews and talking. Pretty easy to use although I didn't use their software as it was a little tricky to set up and get going. Just a regular drag-and-drop function instead of one-button sync, mainly for email, video and photo backup, no heavy paperwork, programs, etc.

My wife likes to watch TV on the go. She is VERY rough with her electronics and broke my latest 3TB drive by lugging it around. When I saw the deal of the day on that disc, I grabbed two.
