Satisfactory product quality, good price.

Pros: It is pleasant to take in hands, the disk fastens and is connected reliably. USB cable is good Has cons: I think that a soft cover on a plastic case will change its properties over time and will look sloppy. Let's see how long it takes.

Poor product, the quality is below average.

With the previous unpretentious case from Buffalo and the same HDD, this was not the case. Perhaps this is done to save disk life, but this option is very annoying if you work from this disk all the time. Pros: The design of the case is good, the correct placement of the connector on the board is soldering with a wide side. But all the advantages fade after working with this case. Cons below: Turns off very often. It is problematic to constantly work with a disk in this case. After a pause…

So far so good in hard drive accessories

A simple and practical solid state drive enclosure for running macOS. Use Samsung SSD with it. No questions or complaints yet.

Good quality case but no connection

This case is a little pricey but the reviews were good so I gave it a try. The case itself is pretty premium and your hard drive looks pretty well protected in it, but the connection is the problem. I can plug it straight into USB 2 and yes it's compatible (but there's a slower speed warning, but that's to be expected). It also works when plugged "directly" into a USB 3 port, but "does not work when plugged into a USB 3 hub or USB 3 extension cable. The power button also turns the device on…

Pros
  • Brilliantly finished
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Used to upgrade the SSD used as C drive

Few years ago we have two computers with 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSDs as C drives for Win 7 Pro SP1 64- Bit systems built. The price of SSDs has come down significantly, so it's time to upgrade to the 1TB Samsung 860 Pro SSDs. We used Samsung's data migration software to "clone" old SSDs to new ones. This tool works on Windows, but it is advisable to close unnecessary processes like an antivirus solution while the copying process is in progress. The old SSD was the C drive for the running system,

Works great!

quality product. Well-designed hard drive, easy to insert and assemble. Worked fine for me. Used with Samsung SSD. The connection cable is also of good quality. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • too boring

This is a quality case, right down to its .

This is a quality case, including accessories - the USB cable is thicker than usual, and even the screwdriver has a magnetic tip and a freely rotating cap! I thought that all layers of cushioning (inner rubber, plastic case, outer rubber) might cause temperature issues, but the disc's temperature seems to be about the same as in a regular plastic case. The only downside is that it costs twice as much as other cases (including some other "rugged" cases).

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Protection

Fits like a normal case, poor as a "rugged "/hardcore backup drive

Not a really rugged/extreme case. The plastic top (which is fairly thin) is very easy to press with your fingers and presses against the hard drive inside. It seems fragile with a lot of bending. It's not as bulletproof as the blue Silicon Power sold by Revain. I think that he can have problems even when pushed with something hard/sharp in a backpack or suitcase. It's not a tight seal, so the "halves" of the lid pop open a bit under pressure! I'm glad I got it in an open box for about $7, so…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Reliability
