Easy install, smells like a pool floaty

Put up by myself in minutes, have some air bubbles that I couldn’t get out with my shower squeegee but it’s effective at delivering privacy without totally blocking light entry! Time will tell how well it stays stuck to the window! Smells a bit strong (think inflatable pool floaty) but should fade with time. Easiest DIY ever!

Pros
  • Comes in a variety of sizes and thicknesses to suit any window shape and size
Cons
  • May not provide enough insulation

Exactly what I needed!

It was very easy to apply. The instructions say to cut it 1” larger than the size needed…I found it worked better if I cut it to size.

Pros
  • Enhances the energy efficiency of your home, saving you money on utility bills
Cons
  • Could be difficult to remove from tinted windows

Easy install-great customer service

The film was very easy to cut and apply. I did have a slight problem getting some of the edges to stay down after the film water was squeegeed off, it appeared as if the edges did not stick after a few days. After speaking with customer service they provided some solutions and were very helpful. Great privacy film.

Pros
  • Blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting your furniture and skin
Cons
  • May not block out all light

Works well. Gives privacy, fairly easy to install.

Did see a tip on how to peel backing from the actual film, which is kind of tricky. Place tape on either side of the corner which you are trying to separate the film from backing. I used heavy packing tape, not scotch tape. It helped to start off the process.

Pros
  • Suitable for both residential and commercial use
Cons
  • May not adhere properly to single-pane windows

Good product, need 2 people for large sizes.

So glad I waited until I had help putting this up. Two of us struggled for at least half hour to get it on right. Used it on shower glass "wall" panel, had to cut around 3 of the glass fasteners. It stuck pretty well but we had to keep misting it with water and it was easy to accidentally pull back and have to re-wet and swipe with (old driver license, credit card etc.) straight edge to push out bubbles. After all was said and done, there's a strip down one side it is showing bubbling even…

Pros
  • Allows natural light to enter your home without the glare or heat
Cons
  • May not provide enough privacy during the day

It’s easy to install if you follow the directions.

I liked how easy it was to trim, to install, and how it’s frosted finish allows privacy, yet still allows light to pass through.

Pros
  • Provides year-round protection from the sun's harmful rays
Cons
  • Could make rooms feel darker and smaller than intended
