Description of ✈️ TravelMate Large Medium-Firm Wellness Seat Cushion - Optimal Comfort for Traveling - 17 x 13 x 3 inches

Every product comes with the trademark TravelMate on the packaging. The combination of a layer of memory foam on top of a furniture-graded foam provides enhanced comfort and durability. Fits most bucket seats. This newly released version comes with a specially designed non-slip cover to prevent it from sliding even on polished marble floors. The improved cover also feels softer and more comfortable compared with the old version. Features zippered, washable cover with built-in carry handle. Cutout section suspends the tailbone, providing relief for the coccyx/tailbone area.

Without a seat cushion I sat very low, not the safest thing

I'm less than 1.50m tall. I drive a Nissan Versa hatchback. Without the seat cushion, I sat very low, which is not the safest thing. Even in a small car, sitting is even more difficult. so I bought it because I was curious. When I received it I doubted it and it was uncomfortable in the sense that I drove for a very long time without seeing anything. But after adjusting the mirrors, the steering wheel and seat are amazing. I see everything, I drive even safer. Once you get used to the elevation

No more fear of rental cars!

I'm very glad I tried this wedge. I have bulged discs in my lower back and cannot sit in bucket seats or non-power seats in rental cars. This wedge is advertised as "hard" and I am NOT disappointed. At first I feel the softness of the memory foam, but shortly after that it becomes "hard". I can say that this is a reliable comfortable seat. The outer fabric is smooth, waffle, breathable. The bottom is made of non-slip clod-like fabric that sticks firmly to whatever you put on it. The handle on…

Didn't have it because I had to sit higher.

I didn't get this because I needed to sit higher, it was because the seats in our small car have too much of a height difference between the front and back of the seat, so it irritates the hollows of my knees and my legs start to get too tingle. I needed something to lift me up to take that pressure off. This seat cushion is wide as other reviews have said, so consider the dimensions before purchasing. It's also VERY firm, so I'm actually sitting a few inches taller. (and staying there - it…

Straightening technology

Advantages - relatively cheap. Cons - Despite some seemingly positive reviews about the "hard" side of this pillow, it's not hard at all and I found it flattened to the point where there wasn't a "gap" between my tailbone and the seat there on which I sit. . sits. To be fair, I'm 6ft 0" and 200lbs, but it's made (or should have been) for adults that size. Apart from the fact that the cushion flattens out to a millimeter or two when sitting, I don't see anything wrong with it. However, its…

Fits Smart Fortwo

I drive a Smart For Two Pure and was looking for a pad/level to raise the driver's seat as this model does not have height adjustment. I'm 5ft 7in and need a little extra buoyancy. (BTW: I love everything else about this car!) After trying numerous "boosters" to no avail; either small/big or hard/soft, not staying in place, poor/weak construction etc, this is the one that fits/works perfectly for my seat. It's firm - with plenty of "give" and doesn't flatten out, keeps its shape, hardness and…

Helps with back pain

I have a slight bulging disc, constant hip pain, very tight hip flexors and tailbone pain that comes from sitting in a regular chair for too long. I specifically bought this pillow for its incline (to open the hip angle and take pressure off the back and hip flexors) and tailbone cut. So far, so good! I've definitely been able to sit more comfortably for longer periods of time and now prefer using this cushion to sitting on regular chairs/seat cushions. I haven't had any coccyx pain since I…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Wrinkled

EDIT June 15, 2014: After using another pillow (as mentioned in this review. Cushina pillow; it's here at Revain) for just under a week, I have tries again. . It doesn't seem to be helping my tailbone injury at all. There is virtually no support or relief when I sit on it. It's also difficult to make sure I'm sitting in the right position. If I stand up after sitting for 30 minutes, I get tailbone pain. Also, it's too hard and awkwardly shaped to be used anywhere else. I am reducing my rating…
