faster than my internet connection

My old TRENDnet G wireless router stopped working because my settings were wrong, so I bought a new, faster router. My old one is now a spare. This has both a power switch and a WPS button. I only had to restart it once or twice a year.

Good router, no problems

Good product, no problems with it, very easy to set up. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I didn't want a lot of hassle. This router meets both criteria. I use it wired for my Xbox and wireless for all other devices. It works fantastic for all of them.

Hassle free operation and great value for money

I'm a computer geek and have installed at least ten or twelve of these units for various private customers over the past few years but have never had a complaint. While it doesn't have the range or performance for all situations, it's solid and reliable for a small apartment or limited space (like a secondary hotspot). Highly recommended. I believe there is a new firmware update so after installing the router you should go to the trendnet website and download and install the update to ensureโ€ฆ

OK for the money good for networking products

This is my 4th router so I have some experience configuring routers. It comes with a wizard that only sets up the basics, but the basics won't properly secure your home network. The instruction book is pretty much useless, but the instructions on the disk are better, but they don't tell you what each field on the setup screens is for, let alone what to type in there. On the recommendation of other reviewers, I updated the firmware several times after it stopped working. That helped, but I still

A normal router at a normal price.

Conclusion: A good router at a reasonable price. It works best on one floor in a small house. Update the firmware after receiving it. I ordered this sight unseen just hoping it would work well with my AT&T DSL at home. He does and does. The attitude is good. The setup wizard guides you through most of the important setup steps required. One big step missing from the Assistant is security. I was expecting the wizard to give me the option to set up WEP or WPA or something similar. You can set upโ€ฆ

Trendnet routers in routers

I read the reviews before ordering and I think I made the right choice. Reasonably priced to fit a tight budget, this router is very easy to set up and has an easy-to-access user interface. The interface allowed me to quickly set up security features that are state-of-the-art and appropriate for the military school environment. My wife enjoys daily streaming Netflix movies on her Acer laptop and I use Facebook, email, chat and Amazon services from my Dell computer. The speed is very reasonableโ€ฆ
