I bought these pegs to hang my daughter's skirts on her velvet hangers and they work great. I also used them to hang up her 7/8 jogging pants; I can only put ONE side of the tape in each clip (not both), which is a shame. The clips are firm and match the quality of the hangers so I am happy with my purchase and will be buying more in the future. Although they are more expensive than I would like.

I hang my basketball shorts on them and working with these clips has been a nightmare. Okay, maybe not a nightmare, but not fun at all. I have a set of hangers with clips, when you squeeze them they open wide. I adjusted the hem of my shorts and let go. I squeeze it to open the other end and it's like my prostate exam. nope don't open anything I am sorry. Maybe it was too much, but I need clamps that open strongly when I press. Bought these to hold slippery items like silk and polyester blouses. This is a great addition to your existing velvet hangers and will not leave a mark on your clothes. I have quite a lot of polyester blouses and they keep falling off the hanger. I cut off the elastics that are usually found inside the blouse because they get in the way and always fall out when worn, and attach these clips to the hanger to keep them in place. Great value for the amount you get in the package. Great offer!

Overall these clips work well and go well with the velvet hangers in my closet. Thinner pieces are easier to cut than thicker pieces like denim or wool, but you can make it work. They don't seem to damage my clothes which is another plus (some metal hangers can be too tight and leave marks).
