I just got this unit so can't share long term testing but I've noticed a few improvements. First, as mentioned, the LEDs are quite bright. If this is a problem for you, can I recommend a piece of tape? You don't have to cover the entire LED, leave part of it visible to check functionality. In my setup, the threshold switch has a dual function. My TV draws about 175 watts, so switched outlets will activate no matter what threshold I use (low, medium, or high).
