Not for Roller Derby

They seem to protect well but the straps fail after a few months of use. They are not suitable for roller derby. I replaced my knee pads with a 187 Kill Pro Derby after 3 months (worth the extra money). I still use the elbow pads but now I have to use tape to keep them in place.

What is that? Elbow & Knee Pads FOR ANTS?!?!

Why are they so small?! No matter how tall I am, they all seem small to me. Medium, Large, XL. they all felt exactly the same. I'm not a vagrant, but I'm not the largest living land mammal either. I do not understand. Tired of setbacks so I'll just deal with crushing my limbs.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Weight

Bought XL, they sent me L

I ordered this item in a very large size. Revain sent me a large size. My problem is that I went up north to take care of a sick parent and faced the problem instead of solving it immediately. Now I'm stuck with pads that don't fit. The quality of the products looks ok. I ordered a triple 8 helmet and gloves and I love them. To be clear, the problem lies with Revain.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative gift

Buy better. for ice skates, skateboards and scooters

Turns out slightly smaller. I am a small person and should have ordered the larger ones, they are probably based on children's sizes. I can make them work as long as they don't fit over bare skin. What bothered me was that all the seams were loose and not closed. The quality is not very good and I don't think they will last long. One of the elbow pads was sewn incorrectly and there is a hole right out of the box. The store I bought them from is great, fast shipping and exactly what I ordered.

Maybe a number above the knee.

First of all they are fantastic in terms of cushioning and durability. My knee was on the upper limit of the plus size which is 17 inches but the butterfly tabs didn't close. I returned for XL. They fit great so if you are in this situation I suggest going up a size. This is not a problem for the elbow pads. I could have worn bigger ones but wanted the butterfly to close. Is that correct? I've only tried them on. I didn't fall with it and I hope not.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Quite expensive but seems well put together

To be honest it might be a little over the top for my purposes (skating in the park, no tricks) but I'm not like I'm young and I don't want the injury to worry me for a while. They're bulky and well padded, which means they're a little bulky, a little in the way, but I feel safe and secure. The knee pad itself has a solid panel that allows you to slip if you fall, and the sides are also closed in a way that you don't get a road rash down the side of your knee when turning (which I did on a…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Worth the money for an old skater looking to jump back on the board

The pads are true to size. I could probably go for a medium size for the elbow pads and a large size for the knee pads, but the large pads for both fit me. I can't comment on the durability of the pads as I've only used them for rope. But they feel like they're really durable. I've survived a few drops with them and I feel like they're worth the money. When I started skating again at 36, I noticed that my body wasn't recovering as quickly as when I was younger. These pads allow me to skate more

Pros
  • All great!
Cons
  • Compatibility

Review from day one (will update if I inevitably crash): After much research I decided on these pads for use with an electric unicycle, actually based on some NEGATIVE reviews: particularly reviews claiming that they are also new large and then shows side-by-side pictures of where these midget competitors are located. For my application I found the GOOD! My guess is that when you're skating you'll typically crash and burn at much slower speeds than you would in a mid-range personal EV like…

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Was damaged
