This is a fairly basic surge protector from Tripp Lite. Tripp Lite makes reliable surge protectors and I have other products from them that don't have rotating plugs or USB charging capability. This is a great extension. I love that I can rotate the outlets to easily accommodate each power supply and not block other outlets. The USB charger is also a nice convenience. The only thing I would change about this item if possible is the power button, it seems like it's too easy to accidentally turn off. Nice design - rotating heads are very good. But. 1) As others have pointed out, the switch is very weak and also easy to turn off by touching it: not good. Let's hope it survives use. 2) The keyhole slots on the back for mounting are not slots at all: you will need very small headed screws to mount this to a wall or table. Since they are so unusual, they should have been included.

finally! A surge protector that I can plug all plugs into (unlike more traditional models which are fixed). I really like the feature where I can rotate individual sockets to make room for all the electronics I need. Also, I like that it has two USB ports for phones or other devices equipped with these power adapter sockets. Last but not least, this worked for me with no downsides. Although it may seem a bit pricey, it's worth the investment.

I love Tripp Lite PowerStrips. I bought 3 rotating PowerStrips. I use all 3 for our various electrical products. I like the flexibility of rotating the ports to connect larger devices. Built-in USB charging ports are a bonus. I've been using Splitter for several months with no problems. Good product! I'm sure I will buy more.

Rotatable plugs are very convenient. A few things that stand out are the presence of internal sockets that the external plugs have to match. Basically, you can't plug anything in and then turn it 180 degrees. I think there are 4 different angles you can rotate the outer plugs to and then plug something in.
