I used this vest to escape into the Grand Canyon. From the south edge, walk to the bridge and jog/walk back. After adjustment, the vest fits snugly and does not slip on the back even when walking downhill. The 2 liter water tank is just right for an Ultratrack. The pockets are convenient for storing some essentials like sweater, headlamp, snacks, electrolytes, keys and cell phone. Straps and zippers keep your valuables safe. I'm a retired powerlifter turned runner and still losing height (for reference, I'm 5ft 9" and 215lbs). I have a 44" chest and ordered L/XL (40.2-45"). It's too small for me. When the straps are fully open, they are still far from a snug fit to be comfortable. I'm afraid if I run to get it and start taking deep breaths and waving my arms, this vest will quickly tear. Even without running, I can feel my lungs contracting. I feel like I'm wearing a vest that my granddaughter would love to wear. I
