Great 3M product. Great for final sanding/polishing of clear coat. Finishing I would recommend this quality 3M product.

I have just finished my first paint job on a 2005 Mercedes SLK350. I did all wet sanding with Hutchins DA (no burn throughs thank goodness). I started with 3m Trizact 1500, 3m Trizact 3000 and Trizact 5000. Then I went back with Chemical Guys V36 and V38 Buffer and Compound. I will definitely order them again for any car painting project in the future.

Slightly more expensive but lasts longer than other brands I've tried. Keep them very moist. I've been using a 6" air powered random orbit sander and with these pads it works wonders on my cars. I usually start with 3000 grit, 1500 when I'm really in bad shape and work my way up to 5000 grit by sanding between the Change grit wipe and rinse. My cars look like new after polishing!
