Dangerous for small birds

Oh my god my baby almost died! His head was trapped in a heart shape (he's a green jawed kennel) and luckily my husband and I were home and were able to free him, he was dangling from his neck. I'm still shaking from the experience. I guess my point is please don't buy this for birds the size of a green cheek or smaller.

Sharp edges around the perimeter

I like the idea, but I do not recommend sharp edges around the perimeter. It's trauma waiting in the wings for a toy to put in their mouths and get their booty. You can easily damage the tongue. It needs to be redesigned with bird safety in mind: no sharp edges. Is always. There is no reason for that.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances

Waste of money on birds

I bought this toy for my gray parrots. I wasn't happy that the plastic blocks didn't fit together and it was so easy for her to get a treat with almost no effort. The toy broke after a while as you can see in the picture. Don't waste your money on this toy as there are others to keep them busy and satisfy their nutritional needs.

Sharp edges and corners! I returned it

This picker toy is adorable but the acrylic is square and NOT flat which makes the edges and corners very sharp. My bird would cut himself trying to get a treat. Too bad because this is a great idea, very cute and the perfect size. I am returning it and recommend the seller to fix the edges before selling to other birds. I don't think so for sure.

  • Great for a small home

Not suitable for Corella

At first I really liked the toy and my bird too. However, this is not safe for Corella. Mine had its head stuck in a heart-shaped hole and would have broken its neck if I hadn't been right there. Please ensure you are purchasing this for a larger bird. Otherwise it would be a good toy. Ideal for larger birds such as amazons, gray or small cockatoos. Maybe that's normal for a kennel, but I'm not sure I'd try it just because I'm very careful now.

Pros
  • Handy thing

My bird liked it on toy

I have a Gray African who LOVES peeled almonds. To give him some mental exercise, I bought other treat foods. Many of them are too easy, and he enjoys it almost immediately. With a box to keep boredom at bay, he had to work hard. He could see the almonds and poke his beak through the side slots to feel for the almonds, but it took some persistence to pry the lid off the box with his beak and remove the nut. light enough that a small bird can easily maneuver it. The crates are balanced so that…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Minor issues
