Should have bought years ago

Fills water bottles and dog bowls 10x faster with our Alexapure filter. The old nozzle slowed down and eventually stopped working. but we wish we had had this one a hundred years ago! We move the water a lot (filling the filter, using filtered water for thermos and dog bowls) and that speeds up the process a lot.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Easy to install, better flow than the original Alexapure

Our original Alexapure filter tap (plastic) started leaking because the fittings started to slip. The original faucet was annoyingly slow too, but we're used to that. This faucet was quick and easy to install and being all metal it fits much better. As a bonus, the stream easily doubles in size compared to the original. worth your money.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Great for Alexapure!

I bought this for my Alexapure because the plastic that came with it broke. What a big improvement. At the same time, the water flow is much larger. It is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe and still attached to the base. Be careful when installing. The front cover of the disc is a sharp edge and rotating it on your finger could cut you. The purchase is worthwhile. Get yours today!

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Suitable for Alex@Pure Pro: under-counter and table-top filters

After a few years of use the original spout broke, first due to slow filling and then because filling stopped altogether. I was going to replace it with another plastic that looks very similar, but why not splurge a bit? So I have this polished s/s bad boy and it works amazing. It pours better than the original, fits with no issues, has better rubber fittings and can never slow down! AlexaPureClient

Cons

Good replacement for my Berkey

I should have done this many years ago. Ease of installation. There are no instructions but look at the pictures to see where the gasket parts go. Use a wrench to get a good seal. It has a much better flow rate than the original tap on my Berkey filter, so filling the reservoir takes almost no time. It looks like real stainless steel. It even looks better. When turning the faucet there is a slight movement, apparently the thickness of the silicone seals decreases. I was shocked when it arrived…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Hidden gem of best water filtration and water softening

Searching the listings for a quality stainless steel faucet was a tricky proposition. It looked like crap. This faucet is perfect. Wherever possible, I replace my plastic with glass, ceramic and stainless steel. I was looking for a premium product to use with a standard 5 gallon ceramic water dispenser. This faucet came with high quality silicone gaskets to prevent leaks. It is strong, well made, pleasant to the touch and aesthetic. I am very happy with it. I've been using it for a few months…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Disrupts the filling of the filter.

Well we like water now but trying to fill these filters with a tap proved impossible. We ended up putting them in a container of water and weighting them down to soak them in water for a few days, and after a few refills, draining and refilling the Berkey tank, we finally felt the water was good enough to drink was. The water has no smell or taste, I assume it's safe. I would say it's better than tap water! My TDS water meter is still reading 100ppm hoping it's just the minerals in the water…

  • Free for educational purposes
