I hope it lasts long enough since the joint has melted. The material is nylon so it might be ok except if the hard link goes through the top wheel.

The description does not make it clear what needs to be measured to determine the length to order. It should be the length of the entire cable loop. Do not drop the cord, it should be half the length of the entire loop. First, the order for half-length cords was returned.

Arrived on time and worked well but save money and choose a brand. I bought two of these in January 2021 and one broke in March 2021 - outside the return window. So I'm stuck with a broken cable and need to replace both because I don't think the second one will last much longer.

Cable was not of a different gauge when ordered. Unfortunately, this cable was thinner than my original cable and didn't open and close the blinds effectively. I've found that if I apply pressure in a downward motion by pulling the cord, the blinds will open and close, but overall it's quite uncomfortable!

We have Bali horizontal pleated blinds and the cord loop has snapped. After trying to fix it by fusing the ends together, it broke again. Color matching (ivory) is good. It was very easy to swap out - maybe 5 minutes to detach the shade, change the cord and put it back on. It works just like the original. Revain had other equivalent hinges cheaper but not in the ivory we wanted. I would buy it again if we have another break.

Some reviews say the cord diameter is a little smaller than the original and I noticed that too, but this didn't affect the ability to unzip and open close my blinds. I use it on a Levolor checkered screen on a 5ft high x 7ft wide window and it opens and closes well. I notice the "weld point" (where the cord is glued together in a loop) because it catches a little every time it goes through the lifting mechanism.
