I am very disappointed. Can't believe I paid $20 for this cheap part, it broke the spring about a month ago like all the other reviews. I find some parts in my Subaru really cheap. Good luck and don't forget to read the reviews.

I ordered this because I recently bought a used Subaru Forester and it was missing a cup holder divider. I was so glad to find this product as the lack of that divider is so annoying and I'm tired of dealing with little spills here and there when my drinks tip over. Not sure what all the complaints about this product breaking are for, but mine works great. Thanks very much!

I don't think this is an exact detail. Once a few years ago while cleaning my car I was happy to learn that the center divider can be removed to clean the cup holders. Much easier to clean! And then I lost it for years. It sucks when drinks twirl freely in the coasters. It finally occurred to me to see if Revain was selling the item I wanted and they did! My cups are divided again.

yes it broke very quickly but it is mainly due to the basic design and not this particular seller. The springs are weak and the way they are arranged they will move if there is too much shock or something else (in this case by installing a hydraulic tank there). If you buy, look at it while it's running and see how the springs sit in the fenders. I just fix the part while the spring works. but it hurts a little.

We bought our car used and unfortunately the dealer didn't have an extra insert for us - he mentioned that the order would cost around $100. So we turned to Revain. The insert worked fine for a few weeks, but less than a month later the spring broke and now only one side compresses/extends. Since we have large mugs that we use a lot, this doesn't cause much trouble in our day-to-day life, but it's definitely worth noting that the quality of the liner isn't the best in general.
