We love the look of the boots and the rest was high quality

The skin between the zipper and the toe is much thinner, so it flexes. It's ok if the toe piece was thin, but it's stiff so the toe piece digs into your toes at that flex point. We love the look of the boots and the rest was high quality. If you have a wide foot I think it fills the boot more and works well, but my foot was too skinny.

Pros
  • This is a great riding boot for my seven year old. Easy to put on and fasten. The size was perfect.
Cons
  • No grip on the outsole

without interruption :)

I have size 10 boots and ordered these in size 10.5. I think they run normal so I could probably order 10 but it works and they're not too big. They are really comfortable and the skin is soft and I haven't had a time gap. The only downside is that these size 10 boots make your legs look even bigger :) So the quality is perfect, but the look makes your legs look a little longer. (I only think in large sizes)

Pros
  • Fantastic shoes. The leather is good and the horseshoes are perfect for riding.
Cons
  • Makes your feet sweat

Much better than synthetic and not much different in price

These boots are MUCH better quality than the non-leather boots that TuffRider also makes. The heel is thicker and they look great in the show ring. They only cost $20 more than buying faux leather boots.

Pros
  • easy to buy the wrong size
Cons
  • The metal zipper often gets stuck.

Riding shoes are great!

Granddaughters ride. The shoes are very stiff and difficult to close at first. Now a little relaxed after being cracked.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are nuances

Poor shoe design

Within a week the sole of the boot came off the boot from toe to arch. I wrote to the company asking for a replacement or refund - no response.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Fits

Love these boots

It took me ages to break them in but when I did they are fantastic. I usually go 8 1/2 wide, but I had to go 9 sts. I had to wear them 2 days without a zip, then we got 1 zip and the next day another zip. A week later in everyday life (1-2 hours a day) and they are so comfortable and now they are closing and they were worth breaking in on time. They are comfortable to drive and easy to carry even at campsites. Cute with jeans or my breeches. I hope they will be worn for years.

Pros
  • Full grain leather
Cons
  • Non automatic

Very happy with this paddock boot!

This is a good horse boot. I've worn Ariat in the past (although it's been at least 7 years) and never found them very comfortable. I rode them for the first time today and they were great - really non-stop. They have a good comfortable insole, the zipper feels very strong, the leather is soft but not without texture. I ordered brown and it's a nice deep chocolate brown. I usually wear a 7 and 1/2 or 8 in street shoes --- I ordered these in both a 7 and 8 and returned 8 as they were quite…

Pros
  • 100% leather
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Comfortable, seem durable and it was great value for money!

I was pleasantly surprised with these boots. Sizing wise I usually wear between a 7.5 and 8 and based on the reviews here I ordered a 7.5. They fit perfectly, with a little extra room for thicker socks in winter. The ankle is a bit tight - I would say my ankles are medium sized but maybe thinner. So that might be a problem for some. But for me they are perfect - they stand up to a little "shrinkage" but when I first put them on in the barn they didn't chafe or feel too stiff - in fact there are

Pros
  • Leather lining
Cons
  • Older model
