Boots run small: Riding boots

My granddaughter has been wearing them for riding lessons for a few weeks and they seem to be holding up very well. However she is usually a size 11 (she is almost 5 years old) so I ordered a size up thinking she would have more room but they just fit her so run small. I would advise getting one size larger. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because they are small.

Good shoes. VERY SMALL :-(

Good shoes. Great for riding! They were perfect boots. But they run VERY small. They are a bit small. We have 3 weeks of classes left and last time she put on blisters her back appeared heal well i have to put up with it and buy another pair of boots we measured her her size is 1-1.5 sizes please keep this in mind when ordering !i loved the shoes just not enough to lose another $40 in three weeks Oof!

Buy shoes one size larger than what your child wears for tennis shoes.

These are quality boots at an affordable price. My daughter is a first year rider and her instructor said these are good boots for beginners if you don't want to spend a lot. You never know if they'll "hang on" at the age of 8-9, and kids are always growing, so getting decent riding boots at a reasonable price is always a plus. The downside is that every 3-5 months, each time the child's leg grows, new riding pots have to be "broken inโ€. This leads to blisters. Also, new boots and a youngโ€ฆ

Perfect. (see size explanation below)

The boots are as expected. Riding boots with a deep fit for children. A little clarification on sizing, as there seems to be a lot of questions about sizing, and because baby sizing is sometimes hard to decipher (US only): In the US, newborns are usually size 0/1 and sizes go larger up to 13. Then Sizes start at 1 and go up to around 10/11 for women and 12/13 for men (but can be larger as some men and women may need even larger sizes. These boots come in sizes from size 8 up for small childrenโ€ฆ

If you are not a serious cyclist (twice a week) these are perfect. Shoes that she would wear for a few months simply would NOT happen. She really loved them because they zipped up and helped her keep her heels in the stirrups of her English saddle without the need for knee high boots that would get hot in summer. They cleaned well with a damp old rag and didn't have a deep/thick tread that held a lot of dirt and debris. The lack of laces to get dirty was another big plus for these models. So if

1st pair Good, 2nd pair Poor

This is our second pair for our little driver. The first was pretty good, lasted a year through pretty hard work in the barn and was polished well for four gigs. The toe box isn't very reinforced, but the rest of the boot has held up well. This second pair had just spent half a week at an equestrian day camp. When they arrived we noticed some creases on the right side of both boots. Looks like the stitching/leather loosened a bit when the cobbler made them. We didn't have time to return them as
