must order a size up

The ad even mentions to order a size up as they run small which I did but they were still too small. My daughter is also not fat at all, she is actually very skinny and wears tight clothes and she still couldn't put on a larger size.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

In addition to the slim fit. youza

We bought a size 8 for our 51 inch, 51 pound 7 year old fairly slim daughter and they are FIT. "I had to dust her feet and legs with baby powder to get her dressed. I foresee having to buy another pair soon. And it won't be that style.

  • An Absolute Legend

Fat and small! for equestrian sports

So my daughter is 14/16 in faded glory clothes and we bought her a size 16. They were teenagers! She couldn't even set foot in it. They have no "protrusion" and are damn fat. I was looking for summer pants for a summer riding camp. The waistband is open with an elastic which I thought would irritate my daughter's upper body. Sooooo, they're coming back.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Useless features

Great pants for my tall and very slim 7/8 year old

We are a size 6 for my almost 8 year old. She has a 6 waist but the usual length for a 7/8 year old. Pants are just long enough. We left out the stirrups because she hates them, but they'll help her practice for a year or so. She has knee high boots so no one will notice even if they are a bit short. she loves colour.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Otherwise they are wonderful. So cute

I bought these for my 4 year old daughter. Received a size 6. She is approximately 44 inches tall and weighs 42 pounds. She's not fat by any means, but she's definitely not skinny. The waist is a little narrow. I don't think that would be a problem, other than the waistband is tighter and doesn't give much strength. Otherwise they are wonderful. So pretty. Can't wait to see her on her new pony this weekend.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Protection

You get what you pay for

They were a good price but the size is a bit odd. My 10-year-old daughter is very tall, long-legged and slim. I'm 12 and she has trouble getting them off because the ankles and calves are so tight and don't stretch as much as you would expect from tight fitting leggings. There are also a lot of loose threads so I don't expect them to last long. The quality is nowhere near as good as their Winter Jods and the sizing is nowhere near their Winter Jods 12 and loose.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive

Runs small, wears out too quickly

After reading other reviews I decided to order an 8 for my daughter, a size 6 who is 4ft 40lbs. I'm glad I did. They fit well around her waist but are sooooo difficult to put on on her legs. Fits well when worn. I like that they have rivets but thought it was a grip knee patch and not just a reinforced knee patch. Edit: She wore them for the first time and while washing I noticed that the seam on the bottom of the pants was already coming undone. They shouldn't fall apart after wearing andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure
