I love her! Hacking is not required! They were comfortable from day one and are still the only boots ever ridden in them! I even hunted my goat in them, they are comfortable no matter what you do in them!

This is a great pair of boots for beginners. Bought for my daughter for her first show. She's still growing and there seemed no point in investing in expensive tall boots that she would outgrow. The laces broke after a few months, but that doesn't affect the function. Fastened with a zipper at the back, laces are a decoration.

Ordered these boots and Equistar boots which were very similar. They ended up keeping those shoes and sending others back. Both fit and looked good, but the Tuffrider just looked and felt like a higher quality boot. The elastic band running along the zipper provides more flexibility and less stress on the zipper. The boot proved to be more flexible than the Equistar.
