Weak beak. best in my review

Our GSD puppy annihilated this within a day. The beak is the weak point and the beak was the target for him. Theres now a gaping hole there with fluff-blood leaking out. This was a miss for us. The size was a lot smaller than expected and there were two squeakers in the tail, which we found to be a nice surprise. But apparently not attractive enough for our pup. If you have a killer, this is not the prey for 'im.

  • We have a very large dog and he loves his toys and the Tuffy ones are the best!!!
Cons
  • My medium size dog pulled the head off in 10 minutes. Shredded.

Not so "tuff " - my new review

Our seventy-pound bulldog mix needs strong toys. We bought the pig from this manufacturer about a year ago, and it has held up to his thrashings and chewing very well. We saw the turkey, and thought he would love it, and he did. For exactly two play sessions. At that point, he had started pulling off the head and a wing, making his way to the stuffing.I know these clearly state they are not meant to be "indestructible", but for the price, I could have bought several cheap toys and let him…

Bought it for our Vizsla

My Vizsla puppy ripped it apart with the first 5 minute with this time. Had to take it away since he start eating the cotton :( It was not meant for us.

Not as durable as their other products.

My 70lb. pitbull mix is a heavy chewer. His nickname is "**** the Destroyer". Regular stuffed animals are typically ripped to shreds in under 60 seconds. I've gotten him some other stuffed animals from this brand and had pretty good success. NOTHING is "indestructable" to my dog, some things just take longer. She's a chewer so eventually they do bite the dust but it's worth it to us to watch the fun she has

We got this for our Chow mix as kind of a Thanksgiving present and it's still going strong. She has had quite a few of these toys; the pig, the crab, the lobster, the squid and many others I can't remember right now. She's a chewer so eventually they do bite the dust but it's worth it to us to watch the fun she has. And just the fact that a chew toy can last for months is amazing to me. We will continue to buy these! I have my eye on the dragon!

Large Tuffy Barnyard Turkey holds up to aggressive chewing, 155 lbs. male 91/2 month old Great Dane pup!

Surprisingly, this Tuffy Barnyard Turkey has lasted my 9 1/2 month old, 155 lb. male Great Dane pup 71/2 months & counting unlike most of the other Large Tuffy stuffed toys I've purchased!He usually destroys any large sized Tuffy Toy including the Mega 10 rated on Tuff scale large Tuffy Octopus within days but not this large Tuffy Barnyard Turkey despite his daily efforts to rip it apart!

Maddie loves Talulah!

Maddie, my boxer, will not play with her toys when she's at grandma's house, so we have to bring a new toy to keep her busy anytime we go out of town. Talulah was the Thanksgiving plaything and she was a total hit! Maddie is still bringing Talulah to bed to snuggle!

Cute but still doesn't last with a big dog

Cute toy and my 7mon old Great Dane loved it but in less then 12 hrs he had a hole in it and was pulling the stuffing out. I was hoping for the price it would last longer but it didn't last any longer then the $3 toys I buy

My 50 pound mix had this toy for less than an hour. Make sure to look at the size, this one is too big for puppy. Chewed right thru the head and started pulling out the stuffing

I should have paid closer attention when I bought this - it's bigger than my dog! Still he loves it, and drags it to bed with him every night.
