Seems to take banana plugs but won't fit

Works fine but only spring pins as advertised. This is suitable for bare wires or contacts. I assumed that based on the picture they might also accept banana plugs, but they don't. It is possible to fit a banana plug into a spring-loaded hole, but I believe this will deform the shape of the plug over time. just know
