The duration and intensity of the color mixture determine the end product.

We love this product and used different colors to knit 18" x 18" cotton kitchen towels for the mid-August Woodstock party. While not as intense as professionally colored products, our end results were still satisfactory for our purpose. First we washed the bags to remove the sizing and then to ensure the most vibrant colors we used about 2/3 bags of paint per color per bag. We also used about 10% less water than stated in the instructions. Dyed burlap has been placed in a zippered bag for moreโ€ฆ

Nice bright yellow. Washable

Works exactly as I hoped. My shirt, which I dyed with this yellow and orange dye, also from Tulip, came out in nice bold colors. I've washed and worn the shirt a dozen times now and the color has stayed bright and vibrant. *I used soda as a presoak, this helps the color set onto the fabric*. It was actually a lot easier to use than I thought. When I first used it I didn't read the instructions and tried to cut open the pouch and pour the powder into my bottle. You can actually put the wholeโ€ฆ

My set of Shibori dyed sheets!

I've been looking for a turquoise bedding set made of high-quality fabric for a long time. All of the sets I found in the color I wanted were either made out of cheap, crappy fabric or so insanely expensive that they were beyond my budget. Eventually it dawned on me to simply dye the premium white cotton bedding I already had. So I bought several packs of this one step turquoise tulip and mixed up the shibori style patterns on different pieces of fabric. Bedding Set. I LOVE how it turned outโ€ฆ
