. The colors ran out quickly, I had to thin them halfway to get more color. I want to order two. However, I like the results and how they came out in the pastel colors I thinned out. I dyed ties, mostly me and my sons dyed clothes. I'll definitely leave them for 5 hours, next time I'll order more than two.

I love this product. With children it was very easy. Be sure to wear gloves as they will soil your hands. After we applied all the paint, we put it in a plastic bag for 2 days and then rinsed the shirts out. With this set we were able to sew 3 children's shirts, 2 adult shirts and a linen kitchen towel. I like that these colors are not flashy but more natural.

I really only bought this set for the red and blue as the patriotic sets were sold out. I followed all the instructions and the red actually came out pinker than the real red. If you're looking for real red I wouldn't recommend this particular set. Everything else was great. 2 pairs of gloves, lots of elastics, I made 2 kids shirts and 1 adult XL shirt and there are plenty left.

We used this to dye 5 cotton masks and 2 baby t-shirts and there was still some red and blue left (yellow went faster because we used a lot, to to produce both orange and green). However, we left the color on for about 24 hours, which was significantly longer than recommended. Also, the blue is REALLY dark, so I diluted it 1:1 with water on one of the shirts and it worked fine.

Pretty colors and the right price. I bought it to knit color socks for my kids. Next time I'd take my socks off first by washing them in vinegar and baking soda. The reason is that I prewashed the socks but the color still came out of the socks. So much dye was wasted. I used socks under the armor and they took the color well. I also used Nike socks and they only used blue color. Very strange, they were colored the same and I wrapped them and let them sit for 13 hours before rinsing and washing

Bought for my sister who lives to dye ties. We sewed shirts. The box says you can make 9 different projects, but we barely had enough paint to make 5 shirts. I'm not sure if we screwed up somehow or what. However. I left the color on for almost 2 days instead of the recommended 8 hours because I didn't want the colors to fade too much. But after 1 wash they lose a lot. I think it makes the shirt look like vintage tie dye, but if that's not the look you want I wouldn't recommend this set. 1-Step
