It's great when you use it right

It's great when you use it right. 47c idle. Second time: Apply a lot of compound and spread evenly over the surface of the chip, idle temperature was about 35°C. The surface of the chip works as it should, the temperature is around 35°C in standby mode. It works well with my 5930K (not overclocked), idle around 35°C (room temp 27°C), under load around 48°C (never reaches 50°C). My cooling is Enermax 240.

Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Runs as advertised, idle 21°C, load 39°C with Le Grand Macho RT air cooler

Just used it on an AMD FX 8370 with Le Grand Macho RT air cooler and got an idle temp of around 21°C and a max temp of 39°C. I've been able to idle it to around 18C and max out at 55C with the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut in the past, but I've run out (because it's expensive and you don't get much). I had it lying around and knew that everything would most likely be fine. I've been pleasantly surprised that he's held his own against the Cryonaut so far. Haven't had a burn through period so far so…

Pros
  • <p>Tuniq TX-4 thermal compound with exceptional performance and exceptional reliability. Tuniq's entry into the enthusiast thermal paste market is the Tuniq TX-4. Tuniq has improved the formula of the thermal compound to offer even better performance. TX-4 is originally a thick and viscous non-conductive thermal compound. The TX-4 iteration features lower thermal resistance, ease of use, and longer lifespan.

The best thermal paste on the market!

I did a lot of research on thermal paste before deciding on this product and I have to say that the reviews and tests of this product were no joke! This is without a doubt one of the best thermal compounds, if not the best. HE IS NOT TOO FAT! This material spreads very easily and I have found its viscosity to be similar (perhaps a bit thicker) to the GC Extreme formulation as far as I can tell. It conducts heat very well and my GPU doesn't even go above 41C at full load with liquid cooling at…

Recommended for fats

This thermal paste is great, I noticed a big difference compared to the previous one. I can tell you that the temperature on the back of the Tuniq TX-4 packing table is wrong. To measure the exact temperature, I recommend you use a thermometer. Do not use programs as they do not record the exact temperature. Logically, to see if the thermal paste is working or not, you have to run the processor at maximum load for 20 minutes. Along the way you will know the results. Tested on my laptop &gt;&gt;

Cons
  • Good but not great

It wasn't easy to apply with the instructions given the first time.

I'm not a hardcore overclocker or anything, but the price was low enough that I went with an aftermarket paste to extend CPU life. Plus, the fact that it's not electrically conductive eliminates the risk of your board burning out. I've been running it for 4 years with no problems on an i3-530 with cm hyper 212+. It wasn't easy to use this guide for a newbie building a computer, but it definitely worked and my CPU never went above 36C, even after playing for hours with a GTX 460 SLI setup in a…
