I bought this gauge set specifically for adding nitrogen to my car tires. For this purpose it is ideal. It has a very heavy construction with a protective disc for two sensors and, as its characteristics show, is designed for heavy work. This requires an adapter from CGA 580 to CGA 350 between it and the tank. Then there is a 1/4" hole that accepts a standard air hose fitting. Build quality and finish is excellent. I don't really care because the gauge basically gives you information in 100psi increments and you can probably within 50psi I have an application for it that calls for 60psi and I can't tell where it is but I can guess and get close It's a downside most users don't mind and in this case it is a great quality tool and appears to be very well built (heavy duty).The price is also factored in - I think it's an extra charge.But I hope this will remain so until
