So much fun. I take it to Costco or somewhere else that has a lot of TVs to play around with the salespeople. Call me an idiot and I'll turn off your tv lol

The TVs in the waiting rooms are so annoying. Every time I turned off the TV in the waiting room, everyone's face was relieved.

I have another TV-B-Gone that I bought a few years ago that only has a range of about 2 meters. This new one blocks the ubiquitous enemy propaganda from over six meters away!

In the evenings I go to the 24-hour gym. The place is empty but all TV screens are on without exception, dozens and dozens! TV-B-Gone to the rescue, double click ("Stealth Mode"), and in a few seconds I can finally work out without feeling like I'm in a TV store!

I got one of these in the early 2000's and found it very handy for turning off the idiot boxes that blare loudly in most establishments. After the battery died and my ex stole it, I forgot about it all until I ended up at the doctor's office with a LOUD TV that no one saw (oddly enough people have these amazing phones to talk to now) and kept myself away from it off to read my book. When I originally got this I obviously had to try it on our 3 TVs in the house. I've tried this on our (around 12 year old) Sony Bravia and newer (bought early 2018) Vizio both turned off assuming there was only an on/off signal. The remote switched between signals and both TVs stayed off. In fact, he turned off the even older television, and the next time he pressed the button, he turned it back on. to switch on and off. OK, it won't work on every TV, but it's not very expensive either - what can you expect? However, when it works, it can be a lot of fun.
