Disappointed with Tweezer

I am VERY loyal to Tweezerman when it comes to any type of tweezers. I have about 4 different styles of Tweezerman tweezers, these two (pointed and angled pairs) I ordered were not at all up to the standard I've ever bought with the Tweezerman name. I went and bought another pair of quirky pairs and noticed that they were made in Gremagny and the ones I ordered here weren't. So if I can't get them where I can actually see them, I'd rather not buy them.

Very good for the price.

Like the sharpness of the tip, useful for fine work, splinters, plucking fine hairs, etc. They are a bit thin, sometimes when I squeeze the tweezer tips, they don't always match. I had Ultra Precision Tweezerman tweezers which were stronger but cost 3x the price so good for the price.

The teeth are staggered and of different sizes; The gripping surface is only at the extreme ends and otherwise absent unless you squeeze it more than necessary, which has the bonus effect of making the misaligned prongs pop out one at a time. If you manage to grab the hair, it's much more likely to be clipped than plucked, since the edges of the teeth are very sharp and…
