After trying a 'similar' product, I quickly realized that not all tank cleaners are created equal. The first purchase (obviously not this product) went straight back to Revain. Let me start by saying that I have been using one of these cleaners for several years and have been very happy with them. Eventually the cleaning part that goes into the tank fell apart as many others have commented on here, but I ran it for 2 or 3 good years and it came in very handy for my small tank. UPDATE Feb 2019. The second failed the same way. This is 2 of 3 and two different batches. Won't be using them again. If you use them, it's a good idea to test them for swelling and discard them before the red rust mix gets into your water. I really liked them but they CANNOT fail in a saltwater pool.
