TYC 1 17727 Corolla Replacement Starter Review

Not bad for the price. It's made in China, not as well made (by the looks of it) as the original starter, but good quality for the price. It seems to work fine but sometimes there is a whistle like the starter is still turning after the engine has started. Apparently the starter rotates faster than the original. Apart from that it works fine. Can't beat the price and I still have the original which I can restore and reset (if necessary). Let's see how this holds up.

I don't review products online, but in this case I think it's important to let other consumers know about my experience with this product. I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla with about 175,000 miles on it.
